It’s not surprising that such a high-stress and demanding environment can result in disagreements and discord, both between individuals and broader multi-disciplinary teams.
Marli’s experience advising health care leaders and practitioners, from medical directors and nursing supervisors to senior health care administrators, spans over two decades and touches on nearly every type of conflict, claim, and team dynamic.
Early in her legal career, Marli represented physicians and medical teams faced with complex claims of medical malpractice and complaints of unprofessional conduct. Marli then expanded her medico-legal expertise to include neutral investigations into physician, staff and patient complaints, conflict resolution and leadership training for clinical leaders in all specialties and at all levels – from medical directors and nursing supervisors to senior health care administrators. Often, this took place in conjunction with their multi-union partners and regulatory Colleges.
Through her training and workplace interventions, Marli helps ensure that health care leaders and their teams work with, and not against, each other in meeting the many significant needs of the patients, clients and the communities they serve.
